Google Pixel 8 Pro just launched in India. At first look, it looked very premium and sleek but when I saw the price of this phone I was shocked!! The Pro model comes at a starting price of 1,06,999₹. The phone also has amazing new unique AI camera features.
The phone has a horizontal back camera module which looks unique and premium. The body is made from metal in Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 pro has a glass back which has Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 protection which is good.
If we talk about the dimensions, it weighed around 185.8 gms and was 8.8 mm thick.
In Front, there is a 6.7” FHD+ OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. Pixel 8 pro is the first phone in the world that supports 2400 nits brightness. The display is absolutely phenomenal, and the colors, and contrast are superb.
The phone has Google Tensor G3 based on 4nm. We tested this phone by playing various games like COD and BGMI and I was shocked!! After 30 minutes of the game play CPU performance was throttled by 52% which is very disappointing.
Yes, there are some negative points but there are some new things too, google promised 7 years of OS updates. Some people appreciate it while some are making jokes about it. If you ask me I think this hardware can’t survive for 7 years that’s it.
Pixel 8 Pro has a triple camera setup of 50 Mp main camera + 48 Mp ultra-wide camera + 48 Mp telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. There is no complaint about cameras when you talk about pixel phones.
This time Google also added some new AI features in the camera app like Best Take where we can change the head of a person in the same position which is amazing, and Magic Editor which gives different versions of our captured images, and you can choose the best image you like.
Pixel 8 Pro has a 5050 mAh battery which you can recharge using a 30-watt fast charger and it also supports 23-watt wireless charging.
Now let’s check out the detailed specifications of this new Google Pixel 8 pro.
