Honor came back to India with Honor 90 after 3 years. It comes under Honor’s premium midrange smartphones. This new phone brings good specs with the latest technology. Honor 90 will be available in 2 variants 8 GB | 128 GB and 12 GB | 256 GB at starting price of 37,999.
Overview: In the box, you get an Honor 90 Phone, One TPU Transparent Case, a 66-watt charger, and a USB C cable. In this phone, there are 3 extraordinary things in this phone design, camera and display.
In front, there is shatterproof glass, and the frame is made from plastic. The corners of the frame are rounded. The phone feels premium and stylish in hand. Honor 90 is available in 3 color options Diamond Silver, Peacock Blue, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.
Even while holding the phone for a long time it feels very comfortable all thanks to it’s 186.5gm light weight and 7.8mm thickness.
Display: The display is the main highlight of this phone. Honor 90 has a 6.7” 1.5K Amoled display. Which is TUV Rheinland Flicker Free Certified and supports 3840Hz PWM Dimming.
At first, it looks like icons are floating on the screen, yes it has a curved display that looks attractive. The phone also supports HDR 10+ and you can increase the brightness of the screen up to 1600 Nits.
Honor 90 also has HDR 10 support so you can stream videos on Netflix and Amazon Prime in HDR which is good. The overall display is fantastic.
Performance: Honor 90 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chip. Which is not latest the latest from Snapdragon. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 easily outperforms 7 Gen 1. The antutu score of this phone is around 7,00,000 – 7,10,000 which is good.
We tested Honor 90 by playing games like BGMI and we got around 40 frames output while playing COD we got 60 frames output which was good.
Camera: The Honor 90 comes with triple camera support of a 200 MP main camera + 12 MP Ultra-wide camera + 2 MP Depth camera. And we know Oppo, Huawei, Vivo, and Honor never disappoint as when it comes to camera performance.
The main 200 MP camera is really impressive the colors, details contrast everything is on point. Even the portrait shots were very good.
let me tell you something interesting part of this phone the selfie camera. Yes. It has a 50 Mp selfie camera that captures photos like DSLR. The Only negative point is it lacks the OIS support.
Overall camera performance is good.
Battery: It has a built-in 5000 battery which you can charge using a 66-watt fast charger included in the box. The battery can easily survive for a whole day on a single charge.
The overall smartphone is good but if you add 2 thousand more then you can buy one plus 11R with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So I think the pricing of this phone is not the best. Otherwise, everything is good. Now let’s check out the specifications of the Honor 90.
