iQOO phones are known for their performance. They launched another smartphone with performance but this time with good looks too. My first impression while unboxing the phone was surprising. I will tell you why. Let’s get started.
Design: Most gaming phones look not as good as other smartphones. As we know, iQoo Phones mostly come with industry-standard design, but when I opened the box, I literally felt like I was unboxing a vivo phone.
Yes, On first look this smartphone looks very attractive. The front has a curved display and the back AG (anti-glare) glass has curved glass. The phone feels very light and thin in hand. But this phone lacks some basic features too, like a 3.5mm audio jack & stereo speakers which every gaming phone should have.
Display: iQOO Z7 Pro has a 6.78” inches 120 Hz Full HD + Amoled Display. Which attracts you to use this phone. It supports 300 Hz Touch sampling rare and up to 1200 Hz Instant Touch sampling rate, which gives smooth gameplay.
The Phone has HDR 10 support so you can also enjoy HDR gaming in this phone. You can increase screen brightness up to 1300 nits which is a massive number in this price range. The Chin and bezels are also also very thin. In short iQOO Z7 pro has a flagship-level display.
Performance: Z7 Pro has MediaTek Dimensity 7200 which is based on 4nm. It can easily handle our day-to-day life tasks and also give smooth gameplay. We played Call of Duty on this phone. We played COD games in very high refresh rate settings which is very rare at this price.
Overall the experience of gaming on this phone was decent. Sometimes details like colors, details, and sharpness lack clarity.
Battery: iQOO Z7 Pro has a 4600 mAh battery which you can charge using a 66-watt fast charger. In normal usage, the battery will easily survive for one day.
Camera: iQOO is known for gaming and performance-centric phones so we can’t expect something extraordinary from the camera. But after testing I found the primary sensor of 64 mp is really good. With this, there is a 2 mp depth camera sensor.
It captures photos with good details and colors. The portrait shots captured by this phone impressed me the most. In front, there is a 16 MP selfie camera which also captures decent photos.
Overall iQOO tried to give some better camera performance and improve the looks of the phones compared to its predecessors. Now let’s check out the detailed specifications of iQOO Z7 Pro.
